Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Fair
27 – 30 June 2017
Shanghai, P.R. China

New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC)
Shanghai New International Expo Center

The first subsidiary of the world’s leading trade fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN to take place outside of Germany: the BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING FAIR. The show is held annually at the alternating venues of Beijing and Shanghai, and celebrated its premiere back in 1987. Today it is regarded as the leading trade fair of the welding and cutting technology industry in the Asian region and is growing in size and significance.

The significance of BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING FAIR is being highlighted in an impressive way by this year's figures: On over 80,000 square metres, around 1,000 exhibitors are presenting themselves in the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Their available ranges are impressive: The exhibition segments extend from installations and equipment for the processes in joining, cutting and surfacing technologies via systems for computer-aided production right up to measuring technology and workplace equipment. At the fair, great emphasis is being placed on specialist further education.
For foreign companies, BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING FAIR is an important platform in order to introduce themselves in this Asian growth region and to consolidate business relations. A large number of international cooperative booths are offering firms the possibility of giving compact overviews of their services to the trade visitors.

BEIJING ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING will be staged in cooperation between Messe Essen, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and the German Welding Society (DVS). The partners will organise a specialist supporting programme in 2017, too. For example, experts will take up topical subjects in the sector in forums and will pass on their know-how.
